If you require financial assistance, the following programs are still available:
Low-Income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP). This program is a year-round emergency financial assistance program developed by the Ontario Energy Board to assist low-income energy customers who may be experiencing difficulty payment current arrears.
The Ontario Electricity Support Program (OESP). If you are in a lower-income home, you may qualify for a reduction on your electricity bill. The Ontario Electricity Support Program will reduce the cost of your household electricity by applying a monthly credit directly to your bill. The credit amount will depend on how many people live in your home and your combined household income.
Many of our customers have inquired regarding time-of-use rates.
If there are to be rate changes to the peak times, the Ontario Energy Board will release the announcement.
