Ottawa River Power is pleased to offer its customers the option of paying their Hydro bill by phone or online-banking. If you have signed up with Bank of Montreal, Canada Trust, CIBC, Royal Bank, Scotiabank, or the Toronto Dominion Bank to pay your bills by telephone or online, you may now include Ottawa River Power on your payment list. Please contact your bank for details.

Pre-Authorized Equal Payment Plan
In addition to the above payment options, Ottawa River Power offers the conveniences of Pre-Authorized Equal Payment. With your signed authorization and a voided cheque, Ottawa River Power will automatically deduct your payment from the bank account of your choice. The Pre-Authorized Payment Plan saves time and money and is the choice of more than 22% of Ottawa River Power customers.

An equal monthly amount is calculated based on previous charges.
Your payment is automatically withdrawn from your bank account on the 1st, of the month.
You receive a statement every two months for your records.
Once a year your account is balanced and any overpayment or underpayment is corrected. To avoid any excessive overpayment or underpayment, adjustments may be necessary during the year.
